The Sandy Mush Bald area is full of wildlife. Please be mindful of the wild animals and do not feed them as we do not want them to grow dependent on our presence. There are many wild native species of plants as well. We hope, upon your stay, that you will be respectful of the entire mountain. Respecting the mountain means being mindful and respectful of native rock formations, native springs and waterfalls, wild animals and plants, and to please make sure hiking areas remain clean and sacred.
